With performance like the chart below, one of these 680s challenges 2 560Ti 2GBs which is pretty impressive, though it is exactly double the price of a 560 for one 680, it's half a dozen of one and six of the other really. The framerate is basically identical to two 560s
If I'm not mistaken though, you can run 3 monitors from one 680 versus 2 of almost any other card in the nVidia line up. The only real advantage to the single 680 is less power consumption so you wont have to up the PSU much to get the performance you want.

i tried deus ex with this graphics card on a friend's computer who just built his pc. makes everything look better than reality! but it's a bit pricey

ReplyDeleteDamn! I'm still on an 8800GT (Was top of the line when I made my build). I'm going to upgrade here sometime this year hopefully (If I can get the money saved up). Waiting on Ivy Bridge to come out for sure. This is a bitchin' card here!

ReplyDeleteJust saw the newegg review on this card about two days ago, this thing is soooo beastly. It even gives the 580 a run for it's money. Now if only i had cash flying out of my ass so i could get one haha.
